Benefits to Membership in CultureBrew.Art

For a one-time fee of $25, BIPOC artists and cultural workers who work in all aspects of performance, production, and post-production in Canada in the literary, media, performing, and visual arts can become members of CultureBrew.Art (CBA).
Don’t have a credit card or funds for the membership fee? CBA is committed to being as inclusive as possible. Simply apply to our Jean Yoon Bursary Fund – we’ve got you covered!

Benefits to CBA Membership
Visibility
- create an artist profile that reflects your full artistic self, with modules to accommodate every artistic discipline
- showcase your work by uploading portfolio images, audio, and video clips
- promote your marketable skills, e.g. teaching, coaching, cultural or EDI consulting, translation, etc.
- our growing list of engagers from across Canada subscribe to CBA to search the database and directly contact artists of interest. These employers are committed to hiring BIPOC artists!
Promotion
- members and their artistic events are regularly featured on CBA’s social media and in our newsletters
Connection
- once your profile is published, you can view the profiles of other members
- direct message members through CBA’s internal messaging system
- find artistic collaborators, peers, mentors, thought-leaders, and like-minded artists!
Accessibility
- CBA welcomes Deaf BIPOC artists, and BIPOC artists with differing abilities.
- CBA conforms with accessibility standards of WCAG 2.0 to a minimum of Level AA (sometimes AAA).
Privacy & Security
- only paid subscribers – not the general public – can access your profile
- 2-factor authentication (2FA) reduces risk of hacking
- all data securely hosted on Canadian-owned servers in Canada
- all data encrypted in transit and at rest
- per our Privacy Policy, your personal information will never be rented, traded, or sold to any third party
- all Members and Engagers must agree to and abide by our Code of Conduct and Terms of Service
